The Transmedia Research Institute is a hybrid environment halfway between a school, a research lab, and a residency program for artists where art meets science and technology. Part online and part offline, it brings together a transdisciplinary group to explore how emerging technologies and new forms of intelligence impact society and culture, with a focus on artistic intervention.
